MRI Technologist - Breast Imaging Specialist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Daylight shifts only with flexible start times. On-call required every 3rd-4th weekend and one weekday.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating MRI machinery to perform imaging procedures, specifically focusing on breast imaging and biopsy techniques. The ideal candidate will be expected to provide high-quality images and assist in breast care procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures with a focus on breast imaging.
• Assist in breast biopsy procedures as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging sessions.
• Maintain equipment and report any faults or maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with medical staff to interpret images and support diagnosis.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a licensed MRI Technologist.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment is preferred.
• Proficient in breast imaging techniques and procedures.
