Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with a strong background in orthopedics to join our dynamic team on the Ortho/Spine unit. This unit focuses on providing care for patients undergoing knee and hip replacements and multi-level spine surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients in the Ortho/Spine unit.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changing conditions effectively.
• Assist with procedures performed on the unit, including but not limited to knee and hip replacements, and multi-level spine surgeries.
• Ensure adherence to unit guidelines and policies to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN License in the state of practice.
• Strong background in orthopedic nursing is essential.
• Compassion and teamwork skills are a must.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred.
