Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting, focusing on effective communication and responsiveness. The unit has a total of 36 beds, with a patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:5.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient assessments and provide general care.
• Care for wounds, tracheostomies, ostomies, drains, and chest tubes.
• Monitor patients for strokes and seizures post-operatively.
• Administer dialysis or PCA pumps as needed.
• Implement HAI prevention protocols, including CVC and Foley monitoring.
• Conduct safety checks every 1-2 hours and facilitate bedside shift reporting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current certifications in BLS and NIHSS.
• Experience in managing post-operative care for amputations, ostomies, and drains.

Dress Code

Scrubs in navy, blue, white, black, gray, or ceil blue are required.
