PCU Registered Nurse - Travel Position

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 36 hours scheduled, 24 hours guaranteed. May be subject to shift cancellations.

Job Description

This is a mixed surgical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position that may also require floating to other units on campus. Candidates must have prior travel experience and meet state-specific eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a mixed surgical PCU setting.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition.
• Administer medications and update patient care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to various units as required, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Current AHA, ARC, or ASHI certifications for ACLS and BLS.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
