PCU RN - Night Shift

Schedule

This position is for a night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed.

Job Description

The position is in a mixed surgical PCU and Medical-Surgical unit. The nurse may also float to other units on the campus, including overflow and observation units.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the PCU.
• Monitor and assess patient health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support and educate patients and their families regarding care plans and recovery processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 24 months of recent PCU nursing experience within the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no hits on the state license to practice.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications from approved vendors.
• Driver's license to verify residency is required.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
