Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill infants and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Admit new patients to the unit and perform comprehensive assessments.
• Utilize various types of ventilators and monitor pediatric patients.
• Start and maintain peripheral intravenous lines, as well as central line maintenance and changing lines.
• Implement infection prevention protocols and contribute to a safe care environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in on-call duties and work alternating weekends and holidays as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• BLS and NRP required within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with various types of ventilators is preferred.
• Experience in Infection Prevention is a plus.
