CT Technologist - Full-Time Days with Call Rotation

Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Imaging Director and under the guidance of the radiologist, the CT Technologist performs radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. The Radiologic Technologist works effectively with patients and their families, consulting with other departments as appropriate to collaborate in patient care and performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures to assist in patient diagnosis.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance patient care and improve performance.
• Manage time effectively and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Practice patient confidentiality and treat all individuals with respect and professional courtesy.
• Accept and provide constructive feedback and support change.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, disaster, and hazardous waste policies.
• Other duties as directed by the Imaging Director.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduation from an approved school of radiology technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed by the State Department of Health.
• Flexibility to work overtime and participate in on-call duties.
• Understanding of age-related developmental issues for both pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Current BLS certification and commitment to continuing education as required by ARRT.

Schedule

This position offers a day shift with call rotation requirements.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
