CT Technologist - Full-Time Days with Call Rotation

Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Imaging Director and the guidance of the radiologist, the CT Technologist performs radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. The Radiologic Technologist works effectively with patients and their families, collaborating with other departments to enhance patient care and performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Manage time effectively while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Ensure confidentiality and treat all persons with respect and professional courtesy.
• Support the mission and vision of the organization by accepting and providing constructive feedback.
• Demonstrate adaptability to change and work collaboratively as a team player.
• Adhere to infection control, fire and safety, disaster, and hazardous waste policies.
• Take on additional duties as directed.

Schedule

This position operates on a full-time basis during the day shift, with an on-call rotation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduation from an approved school of radiology technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensure by the state Department of Health.
• Flexibility to work overtime and on-call duties as needed.
• Understanding of age-related developmental issues for pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Commitment to maintaining continuing education and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
