Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist for an inpatient/acute care setting at a 450-bed trauma level 3 hospital. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide physical therapy services to various patient populations, including orthopedic, neurological, oncology, and post-operative cases. You will collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and case management to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations, treatment plans, and therapy interventions for patients.
• Manage a daily patient load of 8-10 patients.
• Work in collaboration with a team of 6-8 physical therapist assistants.
• Contribute to patient care in various settings, including ICU, medical, cardiac, and surgical units.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Texas Physical Therapist license (or pending).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; travel experience is not required.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
