Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with a mix of medical-surgical and telemetry needs. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to manage a caseload of 5-6 patients during each shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients with telemetry needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records using Cerner.
• Provide support and education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical Surgical Telemetry or PCU setting.
• Active PA or Compact RN license required.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required.
• Cerner charting experience is required.
