Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse (Tele RN)

Schedule

Days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, every other weekend (EOW) required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of comprehensive, quality patient care to patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process. The telemetry RN is expected to incorporate specific educational requirements and maintain competency related to care for cardiac patients. Floating to Med Surg and remote Tele is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care to patients in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor patients' cardiac conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2+ years of Telemetry/Stepdown experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
