8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday - Friday) - No weekend shifts required.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a large acute care facility and be a team player who will provide exceptional care to our patients. The role involves patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, implementing interventions, and educating patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and establish comprehensive care plans.
• Deliver appropriate treatment interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Provide patient and family education regarding therapeutic processes.
• Document interventions and ensure billing is accurate.
• Support Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation.
• Assist in the orientation of new staff members and serve as a clinical instructor for students.
• Exercise independent judgment in moderately complex cases.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program.
• A minimum of 0-4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is strongly preferred.
• Home health experience is required.
• Epic experience is preferred.
• Experience in acute care in a large academic medical setting is preferred.
