Physical Therapist - Day Shift 5x8

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction. The role includes the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs for an effective return to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Completes comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develops appropriate treatment plans and goals to progress patients towards discharge.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to address discharge barriers.
• Manages individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions as needed.
• Documents medical records accurately and timely, in compliance with guidelines.
• Participates in student programs, providing supervised learning experiences.
• Engages in professional development and advocates for patient and professional initiatives.
• Adheres to discipline-specific State Practice Acts and maintains professional licensure.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• Must hold a valid, current State license as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, with a preference for inpatient rehab or neuro experience.

Schedule

This position operates on a Day Shift with a schedule of 5x8 hours.
