Physical Therapist - Outpatient Contract

Job Description

The Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves delegating and directing therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for community re-integration, and educating patients, families, students, and coworkers. Adherence to organizational compliance, the Mission Statement, and Core Values is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document care in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Participate in a student program, providing a positive learning environment.
• Create and pursue an individualized professional development plan.
• Adhere to discipline-specific regulations and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Understand and implement organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Assignment Duration

This is a 6-month contract position.
