CT/X-Ray Technologist Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Varied schedule with hours as follows:

• Tuesday and Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Friday and Saturday: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description

This position requires a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist primarily focused on Computed Tomography (CT) procedures, with the ability to perform X-Ray imaging as well. The role calls for independent judgment and critical thinking to facilitate accurate diagnoses, adhering to departmental and hospital policies. The candidate will work closely with the Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, Operations Manager, or Facility Director, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various imaging procedures while adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment including CR, DR, CT, and PACS.
• Perform IV insertions and injections as required for diagnostic imaging.
• Maintain confidentiality and employ excellent communication skills in all interactions.
• Instruct department personnel and supervise assigned areas as determined by management.
• Complete mandatory education and maintain department competencies as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years current experience in CT and X-Ray technology.
• Previous travel experience of at least 6 months or more is required.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
• Active Massachusetts Radiology License.
• Current ARRT (CT) and (R) certifications.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
