CT/X-Ray Technologist

Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (8-hour shifts)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist primarily focused on CT scans, with X-ray experience as a prerequisite. The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient care in line with departmental and hospital policies and procedures, demonstrating the ability to operate various imaging technologies and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform a diverse array of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.
• Assist in the diagnosis by applying appropriate skills and knowledge.
• Supervise or instruct department personnel as determined by management.
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Effectively operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications.
• Complete mandatory annual education, including blood borne pathogens and infection control.
• Carry out IV insertion and injections as required for diagnostic imaging.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years current CT experience is required.
• ARRT (CT) Certification is mandatory.
• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred.
• A valid Massachusetts Radiology license must be provided.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
