7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour nights, with every other weekend and holidays required as needed.

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and be willing to float to various medical surgical units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with medical protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes in condition.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of current Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Willingness to float between medical-surgical units is essential.
• Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course is strongly required.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
• Must possess active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Current Massachusetts RN license is required.
