Medical Surgical RN - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour nights, 48 hours per week. Every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting. The role requires flexibility and willingness to float to different units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with established protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Continuously monitor patient conditions and report changes as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two years of current medical-surgical nursing experience is required.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion is strongly required.
• Current Massachusetts RN License.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be obtained prior to profile upload.
• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred.
