Medical Surgical Registered Nurse - 12 Hour Afternoon Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

11:00 AM - 11:30 PM, 12-hour shifts, with a commitment of 48 hours per week. Must be available for two holidays (Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day and surrounding days).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must be willing to float to any Medical Surgical unit and be able to meet the specific requirements outlined below.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to various Medical Surgical units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years current Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course is strongly required.
• Massachusetts RN license must be uploaded with profile.
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS must be in hand at profile upload.
• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred.
• Must have a personal vehicle for commuting.
