Physical Therapist - Outpatient Therapy

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position focused on providing evaluations and treatments within an outpatient physical therapy setting. The ideal candidate will combine advanced hands-on techniques with patient education and individualized rehabilitative programs, working with patients experiencing a wide array of conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize manual techniques and therapeutic exercises for diverse patient diagnoses.
• Manage care for patients post-surgery, including joint replacements and rehabilitative therapies.
• Provide education on injury prevention and recovery strategies.
• Assist patients with musculoskeletal dysfunctions, neurological disorders, and other physical challenges.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Schedule

The work schedule is from Monday to Friday with variable 8-hour shifts. The expected patient load is approximately 8 patients per day from Monday to Thursday and 6 patients on Friday.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 2 years of current physical therapy experience.
• New Hampshire Physical Therapy License or Compact License.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Previous rehabilitation and travel experience preferred.
• CPSI EMR experience is highly preferred.
