Registered Nurse - Acute Care

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days - 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, with on-call duty required one weekend a month.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, ensuring safety and respect for patients during their treatment. This position requires a commitment to working with a manageable nurse-to-patient ratio and will involve tasks typical of an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients in an acute care environment.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Assist in wound care as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active BLS certification.
• Current RN license to practice in the state.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Wound care experience preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
