Physical Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, with 2-3 weekends per month.

Job Description

Physical therapists (PTs) are licensed health care professionals dedicated to helping patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility. PTs develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote mobility, alleviate pain, restore function, and prevent disability. They also engage in fitness and wellness programs aimed at promoting healthier, more active lifestyles. PTs work across diverse settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and home health agencies, providing vital care for their patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic techniques to enhance patient mobility and function.
• Educate patients on preventive measures and management of their conditions.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Arizona Physical Therapist License.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred.
