Physical Therapist

Job Description

Physical therapists (PTs) are licensed health care professionals dedicated to helping patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility. They assess each patient and create a tailored treatment plan to promote mobility, alleviate pain, restore function, and prevent disabilities. PTs also focus on developing fitness and wellness programs that encourage healthier and more active lifestyles, aiming to prevent the loss of mobility before it occurs.

Responsibilities

• Examine and assess individual patients to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement treatment techniques aimed at reducing pain and improving mobility.
• Educate patients on managing their conditions and achieving long-term health benefits.
• Create fitness and wellness programs to enhance overall patient health.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, with the expectation of working 2-3 weekends a month.

Oro Valley, AZ

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position with 36 hours guaranteed per week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Arizona physical therapist license
• BLS certification
• Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation settings is preferred
