Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient Clinic

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM; work at the hospital one Saturday per month.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinic team. The ideal candidate will possess the skills to help patients reduce pain and improve mobility. They will examine patients and develop personalized treatment plans that utilize various treatment techniques to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions to assist in patient recovery.
• Teach patients how to manage their conditions and achieve long-term health benefits.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy required.
• Both inpatient and outpatient experience is essential.
• BLS certification and current NM state licensure are required.
• Pending NM state licensure will be accepted, but must be included with submission.
• Fingerprinting for all NM travelers is required.
