Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient Clinic

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days: Monday - Thursday, 8 AM - 6 PM; Friday, 8 AM - 12 PM. Work at the hospital one Saturday per month.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. The role includes examining patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions to promote mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at achieving improved functional outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and strategies for long-term health benefits.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Inpatient and outpatient experience required.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist or pending approval for NM state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
