Job Description

This position provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process. The incumbent is accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care, delivering comprehensive nursing services to pediatric patients and their families/caregivers in an emergency setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for pediatric patients.
• Provide quality, compassionate care and maintain excellent documentation.
• Comfortably engage in pediatric resuscitation and care of critically ill children.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Adapt to departmental needs, including weekend and holiday shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two years of experience in a Pediatric ER.
• NV RN license required prior to start.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC.
