Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Children's Emergency Room is responsible for providing optimal patient care utilizing advanced nursing knowledge and skills. This role is vital in diagnosing and managing health responses in pediatric patients, ensuring compassionate interactions with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of pediatric patients.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Provide care for critically ill children and comfort during resuscitation procedures.
• Document patient interactions and outcomes accurately and promptly.
• Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• NV RN license required prior to start.
• Two years of experience in a Pediatric ER.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC.
