40 hours per week; schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing quality therapy services under supervision, catering to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This role entails comprehensive evaluations and treatment of gait and transfer limitations, orthotic/prosthetic training, and comprehensive wound care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop appropriate plans of care.
• Provide rehabilitation services from admission through discharge.
• Directly supervise staff physical therapy assistants and rehab technicians.
• Participate in program development and outcome measurements as needed.
• Possibility of floating between similar facility settings based on patient needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current NV PT license required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience preferred; consideration will be given to those with SNF or rehab experience.
• Total joint experience and Epic experience preferred.
