Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule of 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00), including every other weekend and call requirements.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery will provide high-quality care to patients in a LDRP unit. Responsibilities include managing patients during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care. The RN will work in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients in labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Conduct assessments and document patient data using the EPIC charting system.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding care and recovery.
• Perform newborn assessments and care, including administering vaccinations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required.
• Epic charting experience is necessary.
• Must hold a valid RN license.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons.
