Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30. Every 3rd weekend is required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Labor & Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-risk obstetrics and a passion for providing exceptional patient care during childbirth.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in a high-risk Labor & Delivery setting.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during the labor and delivery process.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to abnormal findings.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries, including cesarean sections and postpartum procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate and support patients and families through the childbirth experience.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two years of nursing experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Current RN license and certifications in NRP, ACLS, and BLS.
• BSN required; AWHONN Intermediate or Beginner certification preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
