CT Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts: 3x12 hours per week, Friday to Sunday (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM).

Job Description

The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols. The technologist is responsible for conducting scans on various patient populations, from infants to geriatrics, ensuring proper care and technical accuracy for interpretation by a physician.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations according to established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Accurately start IVs and administer contrast media as needed.
• Conduct biopsies and other interventional cases as required.
• Utilize PACS systems for imaging and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Certification with South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) in CT is necessary.
• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology is mandatory.
• Pending South Carolina licensure accepted if proof of application is provided.
