LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing exceptional patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in alignment with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The Registered Nurse will demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for safe care delivery, maintaining clinical competencies, and supervising nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment.
• Anticipate and plan for safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff experience.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel in delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two to five years of relevant nursing experience.
• ACLS & BLS certifications (must be attached to the submission).
• Experience with vent/trach care.
• Current Missouri RN or multi-state RN license (must be attached to resume).

Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.
