LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is accountable for delivering exceptional patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in line with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role involves critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for safe patient care delivery. The RN is expected to maintain clinical competencies, delegate patient care priorities, and supervise assigned personnel effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care to patients in compliance with nursing standards and hospital policies.
• Utilize critical thinking skills for effective patient assessment and care planning.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical competencies through ongoing education.
• Delegate and supervise patient care tasks to the nursing staff.
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of care during the assigned shift.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 to 5 years of nursing experience required.
• Current ACLS & BLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Active Missouri RN license or multi-state RN license.

Schedule

This position requires night shift availability from 19:00 to 07:00.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
