Hand Occupational Therapist - Days

Day shift, 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM - 04:30 PM)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Hand Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional care to patients during the day shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care settings and be skilled in various therapeutic techniques to assist patients in their recovery process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with hand and upper extremity conditions.
• Administer interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities like E-stim and ultrasound.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and their families about treatment options and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Hand Occupational Therapist preferred.
• Relevant certifications including BLS and Manual Therapy required.
• Experience with lymphedema management is a plus.
• Ability to demonstrate skills in therapeutic interventions and patient assessment.
• Valid state license must be in hand before the position start date.
