Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Night Shift

Shift: 4x12-Hour Nights (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a minimum of 1 year of inpatient medical-surgical experience to join our team on the night shift. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, possess excellent patient care skills, and demonstrate proficiency in the Epic charting system.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor telemetry patients in a centralized unit.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and other safety protocols.
• Document all patient interactions and care in the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient medical-surgical experience.
• Must hold a BLS certification.
• Current Texas State or Compact RN license required.
• Recent Epic experience (within the last 6 months) is mandatory.
