Registered Nurse - General Neuro Unit Nights

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

The General Neuro Unit serves a diverse patient population ranging from young adults to geriatric patients, focusing on both medical and surgical care, particularly neurology and neurosurgical diagnoses. The unit is equipped with telemetry and oximetry monitoring to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level nursing care to patients in a General Neuro Unit setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.
• Manage and assess patients with neurology and neurosurgical diagnoses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license required.
• Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required.
• Experience with Epic charting is necessary.
