Registered Nurse – LTAC ICU Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), with options for 36 or 48 hours per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) ICU environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care activities and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Manage and interpret vital signs and lab results, responding to changes effectively.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health care decisions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an ICU setting, LTAC experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is essential.
• Charge experience preferred.
