Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with one Saturday per month and holidays required.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist facilitates the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled persons to maximize their functional status. Key duties include evaluating, planning, implementing, and modifying age-appropriate treatment programs, participating in discharge planning, and performing administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT evaluations and treatments
• Attend care plan meetings and develop care plans
• Participate in discharge planning
• Perform administrative duties and participate in performance improvement initiatives
• Pursue professional growth and maintain clinical skills

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of experience in Occupational Therapy required
• Current BLS certification required
• New Mexico state licensure required
• Acute care experience is mandatory
