Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient Clinic

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days: Monday - Thursday, 8 AM - 6 PM; Friday, 8 AM - 12 PM; work at the hospital one Saturday per month.

Job Description

The Travel Physical Therapist will provide outpatient services, focusing on evaluating and treating patients to reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and implementing therapeutic interventions to promote long-term health benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and develop treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility and reducing pain.
• Educate patients on condition management and preventive strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Mexico or pending application approval.
• BLS certification required.
• Fingerprinting required for all travelers in New Mexico.
