This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

36 hours per week, 3x12 hour shifts during the day. The schedule includes weekends, holidays, and call shifts as needed.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic MRI scans and assisting radiologists and referring physicians in MRI procedures while ensuring exceptional patient care. The role requires proficiency in operating MRI scanning equipment and application of advanced imaging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality MRI images for diagnostic purposes.
• Assist in MRI procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Understand and apply MRI physics and technical skills for efficient operation of equipment.
• Maintain accurate imaging and clerical records.
• Perform additional duties related to imaging as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Requires registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) and MRI Registry at the time of hire.
• Preference for applicants with certifications in MRI.
• Minimum of two years of clinical or hospital-based MRI experience required.
• Thorough knowledge of MRI physics and imaging techniques.
• AHA BLS certification required.
