3X12’s, varied nightshift hours, and rotating days. Call is required and may include weekends and major holidays.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist produces diagnostic MRI scans, assists radiologists and referring physicians in MRI procedures, and ensures patient care while representing the Purpose of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and produce high-quality images.
• Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
• Maintain safety and comfort for patients during procedures.
• Ensure the technical quality of images meets professional standards.
• Float to various departments as needed per competency level.
• Participate in after-hours standby and callback shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in MRI is required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• A minimum of 2 years of MRI experience is required.
• Experience with GE or Philips scanners is preferred.
