Job Description

The incumbent provides optimal patient care utilizing nursing knowledge and skills, ensuring accountability for individualized patient outcomes throughout the entire episode of care. Comprehensive nursing services are provided to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for diverse patient populations.
• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems within a nursing framework.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Demonstrate acute understanding of cognitive and psychosocial needs specific to different age groups.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of Med/Surg/Tele experience required.
• Nevada RN license required prior to start.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must pass telemetry competency exam to identify and measure telemetry rhythm strips.
