Job Description

The Operating Room Nurse will provide patient care in the operating room while assisting in various surgical procedures. This role requires expertise in surgical protocols and the ability to work with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures across various specialties including Hearts, Trauma, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Urology, GYN, and Robotics.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and provide immediate response to any changes during the procedure.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have Operating Room (OR) skills and competencies.
• Advanced skills in nursing practices related to surgical settings are necessary.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
