Job Description

The Operating Room Surgical Tech will play a vital role in providing quality patient care by assisting in surgical procedures under the guidance of surgeons and nursing staff. This position requires strong technical skills in a high-pressure environment, ensuring all surgical equipment is available and functioning prior to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical teams during procedures.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment.
• Ensure all surgical instruments are accounted for before and after operations.
• Assist with patient positioning and draping.
• Document patient care activities accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have operating room experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience with various surgical specialties, including hearts, trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, GYN, and robotics.
