3x12's, rotating days of the week, varied shifts, call required. Shift may center around graveyard hours.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic MRI scans, assisting the radiologist and referring physicians in MRI procedures, and ensuring patient care while representing the purpose of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanning equipment to produce high-quality images.
• Assist in patient care during MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain qualifications and certifications, staying updated with advancements in MRI technology.
• Perform other job-related duties as necessary, including after-hours standby and callback time.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience.
• Current ARRT certification required; MRI certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
• Experience with GE or Philips scanners is essential.
