Job Description

The CT Scan Technologist produces diagnostic CT scans and assists the radiologist in various CT scan procedures while ensuring patient care standards are met. This role is essential for supporting the overall mission of delivering advanced healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage diagnostic CT scans for in-patients and outpatients.
• Assist in the daily workflow coordination of the CT department.
• Administer IV contrast materials under the radiologist's direction.
• Ensure optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and exam evaluation across all age groups.
• Maintain current CPR certification and comply with mandatory in-service requirements.
• Participate in quality control monitoring as per department policy.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and future direction of the CT department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of two years clinical experience in a relevant department.
• Experience in trauma imaging and travel is required.
• American Registry of Radiological Technologists certification (ARRT) in Radiography (R) and CT.
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
• AHA BLS certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
