Job Description

The Registered Nurse - Telemetry provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the nursing process framework. The incumbent is accountable for individualized patient outcomes throughout the entirety of care, offering comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, as well as their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing services through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems, tailoring interventions to specific patient needs.
• Coordinate care among healthcare professionals as required.
• Monitor ECG rhythms for telemetry patients continuously.
• Assist in patient transport, admission, discharge tasks, and medication administration as appropriate.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required.
• NV RN license required prior to start.
• Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (APEX).
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam, including identifying and measuring rhythm strips.
