Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Med/Tele department provides optimal patient care utilizing a thorough understanding of nursing processes. This role is responsible for individualized patient outcomes throughout the episode of care. The RN will deliver comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, as well as their families and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop appropriate care plans based on patient needs.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions for optimal patient care.
• Coordinate care among other healthcare professionals as necessary.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of Med Surg/Tele experience required.
• NV RN license required prior to start.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are necessary.
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam regarding telemetry rhythm strips.
