Night shift, varied hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department. This includes utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The RN will demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment, along with leadership, to ensure safe delivery of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the emergency room setting.
• Utilize the Nursing Process effectively for patient assessments and interventions.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and leadership skills in managing patient care.
• Delegate patient care priorities appropriately among staff.
• Provide direction and supervision to staff delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ER RN.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Active state RN license required.
