Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 06:30 to 15:00. No call required.

Job Description

The Central Sterile Technician is responsible for the decontamination, packaging, sterilization, and delivery of instruments, materials, and equipment necessary for supporting surgical services. This role works under the indirect supervision of the Director of Surgical Services, utilizing specific guidelines and standards for department operations. Responsibilities also include documentation of the sterilization process and ensuring equipment functionality.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Packaging and sterilization of surgical materials.
• Delivery of sterile instruments and equipment to surgical services.
• Documentation of sterilization processes, including monitoring and verifying equipment functionality.
• Adhering to departmental guidelines and standards for operations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

All travel submissions must have at least 2 years of experience along with prior travel experience. No locals will be accepted. Candidates must meet specific licensure and certification requirements relevant to the role.
